Volunteers and activists in Lviv are building an abandoned dormitory for residents of victims of Russian military aggression. The new residents of the hostel are people from Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine. They settle in a new place, communicate with relatives from Russia, observe events at the front and reflect on what makes them Ukrainians.
The project includes 10 series of 10 minutes.
First series. History of the volunteer project.
Second series. Acquaintance with the residents of the hostel. Residents talk about their family ties to Russia. The story of Nadezhda, who loses her sister from Russia after a telephone conversation.
Third Series. How Did the War Begin? Memories of the dormitory residents about the first day of the war.
Fourth series. The story of Alexei, a singing teacher from Kharkiv, who is drafted into the army
Fifth series. Children who saw the war
Sixth series. What will happen to the Russian invaders after the war? Confession of the daughter of an "Afghan" from the punitive detachment.
Seventh series. Calls to relatives. Who is calling whom, and what is it about? Vladlen calls relatives and acquaintances who have left Mariupol
Eighth series. Russian-speaking Ukrainians. Ukrainians or not? Residents of the hostel remember their favorite books and movies.
Ninth series. "Who needs us there?" very common opinion among residents of eastern Ukraine. The story of a man who is trying to get a job in Lviv.
Tenth series. The story of a woman from Kharkiv who survived World War II and became a refugee during this war.

Svitlana Lishchynska (born 1970, Mariupol) a Ukrainian film director. Svetlana has worked for more than 25 years for the leading Ukrainian TV channels. She directed numerous reality shows and documentary projects.
